second trip to Anchorage and was by special request. This site is a dog run area, so
I let the local participants bring their dogs. |

Our primary site at a local park was rained out (standing water of > 1 foot) so we
delineated the "back yard" of one of the participants. |
The Charlotte class of August 2003, was, as
always, top notch! This picture appeared in several local newspapers because one of
the participants is a commissioner of the City of Lake Norman. |

was typical Michigan weather; over a two-week period the temperature ranged from -6 to

2003. This picture is a site that we monitor in Valle de las palmas (Valley of the
Palms) in Mexico. Unfortunately, the locals dredge the red clay soils to make pots.
We are working with the alcalde to preserve the vernal pool areas. |

many City of Ann Arbor parks.In April 2001, the City of Ann Arbor gave me a parking ticket for parking in a handicapped spot, even though I had a broken leg and I had left a copy of my discharge papers on the dashboard. When I appealed, they lowered the penalty a little, but I still had to pay $50 even though I had a legitimate handicapped parking sticker by that time. I hope the parking police use these revenues to buy and fund their parks. |

The Pasco/Kennewick, WA, January 2002, special
class. We can do these special classes for as few as 10 persons! This area of
Washington is much more like Colorado than Seattle! |

The Houston 4/01 class. Included in this
group was a scholarship defensive end for Northwestern who played in the Rose Bowl and may
end up in the NFL! Kind of gives credibility to that "oxymoron" of Smart
